I just launched a podcast.
It’s my top focus for 2014 and how I’m going to reach a large new audience of health & wellness entrepreneurs.
But while doing some market research interviews prior to launching, I found a recurring theme…
Very few of the people I spoke with had ever listened to a podcast!
That might deter other marketers (“go where your audience is” and all that jazz…), but not me.
Because I truly believe that podcasts are going to add a ton of value to your life!
ESPECIALLY if you are “too busy” or “hate watching online video” (I do too!)
Let me tell you why…
Why should I listen to a podcast?
A podcast is a free online radio show. They’re usually audio-only. You subscribe to the podcasts that interest you, and the latest episodes are automatically downloaded to your device.
That means you can take them with you on the go, and free yourself from your computer!
- Listen on a walk or run.
- Listen while you wash dishes or cook dinner.
- Listen at the gym.
- Listen during your commute!
I’ve listened to podcasts for years to take advantage of otherwise mindless moments in my day.
While working in my corporate job, every commute was filled with podcasts supporting my then-current projects … podcasts about moving to France and podcasts to practice my French evolved into podcasts about herbal medicine, and podcasts about online business.
Listen to podcasts to free yourself from your computer, and learn ‘on the go’ – in the car, while cooking, at the gym, standing in line…
Subscribe to my podcast for healthy business building wisdom!
As a solopreneur, I know you’re busy and feel a bit overloaded with things to do. Plus, who wants to spend all day in front of the computer?
